Our GHCS Mission
GHCS is the Gary (IN) Historical and Cultural Society, a 501 c(3) community organization dedicated
to the preservation of Gary's rich ethnically diverse culture and history. GHCS was founded in 1976 by Mrs. Dharathula H.
"Dolly" Millender who is our CEO and Gary's "ethno-historian".
